Individually custom designed + handmade by Janet, using 12g square wire wax, and then cast in sterling silver in NYC.
Retail price depends on the number of letters: names up to 3 letters = $245; 4-6 letters = $265; 7-9 letters = $285.
Material & Technique:
- Handmade wax original art piece
- Cast in the Jewelry District of NYC, lost wax method, in solid sterling silver
- Hand filed, sanded, and finished to a high gloss by Janet in her NYC studio
- Sterling silver chains (main necklace chain+ 3" extender chain) are soldered securely to the name plate
- One 5mm Swarovski Crystal bicone accent end, in your choice of color, wirewrapped in sterling silver
Product Size & Detail:
- Each piece is custom designed, depending on the letters used + how it looks together to make the name plate as a whole. Janet uses only lower case letters + has her own style of font, and it's not always exactly the same.
- Nameplate width depends on the letters used, but all lower case letters are approx 3/8" (1cm) high; taller letters like "f" or "t" or lower letters like "y" or "g" are approx 1/2" high (1.25cm)
- Necklace length: your choice of 16" + 3" adjustable extender, 18" +3" adjustable extender, or 20" + 3" extender
- Please expect approx 7-10 business days for the custom piece to be mailed from the studio.
