I love textures and patterns, and for this pendant, I studied images of crocodile skin and handcarved this pattern in wax, freehand!
Materials & Technique:
- Originally, I made the pendant out of wax, then cast it in sterling
- These production pieces have been cast in sterling silver in New York City
- All cast pieces have been hand filed, sanded, and finished by Janet in her NYC studio
- Necklaces are made from genuine Ultrasude ribbon, sterling silver lobster claw clasps; finished with sterling crimps
- 3" adjustable sterling silver chain end with my original sterling silver cast star pendant end, which makes the necklace adjustable 14.5" choker length and up to 17.5" in length
Product Size & Description:
- Pendant Size: 2" outer diameter; 1" hole is off-center and toward the top of the pendant; approximately 1/8" thick
- 3" adjustable end (size can be adjusted from 15" to 18")
Select "Croc" line option:
- White lines--more subtle
- Oxidized (blackened) lines--really shows off the details of the "Faux Croc" and gives it a more industrial look
